Cultivar créé en 1978 par Irene Nuss de Westchester en Californie, issu du croisement entre B. ‘Kentwood’ et B. lubbersii. Dans le semis de cette hybridation, Irene Nuss a sélectionné deux autres cultivars : B. ‘Bonanza’ et B. ‘Kenilu’.
Plante buissonnante à tige de bambous de type « Superba » qui atteint 90 à 120 centimètres de haut, ce cultivar a été développé en 1968, a fleurie en 1971, et a été distribué pour la première fois en 1972 par sa créatrice.
Le nom a été dévoilé dans le numéro d’octobre 1974 de The Begonian.
Enregistré par l’ABS le 28 avril 1978 sous le n° #663.
Les feuilles sont vert clair, veinées, le dos est rouge vif, avec des taches argentées typiques des « Superba », les bords sont découpés, la texture est lisse avec cinq nervures, les fleurs sont d’un rose clair délicat, avec des ailes arrondies, disposées en grappes pendantes, depuis le début du printemps et pendant l’été.
A deux reprises, Freda Holley de Stillwater dans l’Oklahoma a utilisé le pollen de ce cultivar pour créer B. ‘Holley’s Holiday’ en 1999 et B. ‘Metronome’ en 2002.
Multiplication par boutures de tiges feuillées.

The leaves are light green, veined, the back is bright red, with silvery spots typical of « Superba », the edges are cut, the texture is smooth with five ribs, the flowers are a delicate light pink, with wings rounded, arranged in pendulous clusters, since the beginning of spring and during the summer.
On two occasions, Freda Holley of Stillwater, Oklahoma, used pollen from this cultivar to create B. ‘Holley’s Holiday’ in 1999 and B. ‘Metronome’ in 2002.
